(KRON) — Two suspects were arrested after officers responded to a theft at CVS late Sunday evening, the Benicia Police Department said. The theft happened at the store on Columbus Parkway.
According to Benicia police, two suspects left the store with a car and a bag filled with unpaid items (pictured below). Police approached the suspects and later arrested them.
Among the stolen items, according to BPD, are hygiene products, clothing and a bottle of liquor. The total value of the stolen items was not specified by police. Both suspects were also found to be in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
It was later determined that one of the suspects had an outstanding warrant for theft in Solano County and was on probation. Both suspects had multiple theft and drug convictions, BPD said.
The CVS is located at the Rose Center shopping mall that includes a Mountain Mike’s Pizza, Starbucks and McDonald’s.
