(KRON) – Another popular K-pop group is set to take the Oakland Arena stage. Girl group Babymonster has announced six new tour dates for their “Hello Monsters” world tour.
Bandmates Ruka, Pharita, Asa, Ahyeon, Rami, Rora, and Chiquita just made their U.S. debut at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.
The K-pop sensation has added shows in Toronto, Rosemont, Ill., Atlanta, Fort Worth, Tex., Seattle and, of course, Oakland.
The show is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 10 at the Oakland Arena.
The Monstiez, Babymonster’s fanbase, will enjoy the group performing their hit songs including: “Drip,” “Batter up,” “Sheeh,” as well as 22 other songs. According to the band, concerts will display montages of behind-the-scenes clips of the band’s journey to their tour debut.
Debuting just last year in April, Babymonster’s first EP, “BABYMONS7ER,” broke records for first-week sales by a debut girl group. The group’s first full-length album, “DRIP,” debuted at No. 149 on the U.S. Billboard 200. The title track reached No. 16 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 30 on the Billboard Global 200.
For the newly added shows, tickets will be available at 3 p.m. on Friday at LiveNation’s website.
