A smaller wind-fueled blaze was reported in the Santa Ana Riverbed in Colton around 5 a.m. Tuesday but was quickly extinguished. On the other hand, mountain communities woke up to snow on Tuesday morning, and further inland, drivers had to navigate slick roads due to rainfall.
The combination of weather patterns caused KTLA 5 meteorologist Henry DiCarlo to state Tuesday morning: “This is a rather bizarre forecast.”
