(KRON) — On Monday, a couple of Sunnyvale officers were called into action of a different kind. According to the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety, Fire Engine 241 responded to a report of a woman in labor.
Upon arrival, Sunnyvale DPS Public Safety Officers Wells and Van Rechem “assessed the situation” and determined that the woman was in “impending labor.” The responding officers assisted the mother with the delivery of a healthy baby girl, officials said.
“Best wishes to the baby! Congratulations to the new parents!” Sunnyvale DPS said on X. “Thank you PSOs Wells and Ran Rechem for the assist! Well done!”
