A fatal crash shut down all northbound lanes of the 110 Freeway in downtown Los Angeles just as the Tuesday morning rush hour began.
The collision was reported just after 5 a.m. near the 3rd Street exit, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Sky5 was overhead at 5:15 a.m. and observed first responders laying a sheet over a body in the far right lane of the freeway. A heavily damaged vehicle was seen nearby.
