(KRON) — The opening date is set for the newest Costco in the Bay Area. Last-minute Thanksgiving shoppers in Pleasanton are gifted with a Costco opening on the day before arguably the biggest holiday of the year.
Costco’s Pleasanton location will open the day before the holiday on Wednesday, Nov. 27. It is located at 7200 Johnson Drive and will have a gas station. The warehouse is located near Stoneridge Shopping Center, which is separated by Highway 680.
There will be special store hours for the grand opening: 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Normal warehouse hours will be from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on weekdays. The Costco will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays.
Like all other Costcos, the Pleasanton store will be closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Day.
The Pleasanton Costco marks the third warehouse in the Tri-Valley area, joining the Danville and Livermore locations. It is the second Costco in the Bay Area to have opened within the past two months.
Costco opened in Napa on Oct. 18, and its grand opening was met with long lines coming out of the front entrance to get inside. Dozens of shoppers were even seen camping outside of the warehouse at 280 Riversound Way.
