Graffitied Hollywood Hills mansions cleaned up

Two Hollywood Hills mansions that were covered in graffiti have seen the unauthorized artwork painted over.

Aerial footage from Sky5 shows the abandoned four-story home on Sunset Plaza Drive and another near Mulholland Drive are in the midst of renovations, at least on the surface.

While some graffiti is still visible, much of it has disappeared, painted over to match the homes’ color before squatters and taggers took over.

The homes are owned by John Middleton, whose father owns the Philadelphia Phillies baseball team, and neighbors have criticized him for letting the homes fall victim to those who often throw noisy parties.

Since the complaints went public earlier this month, though, the properties appear to have been better secured.
