Robbery suspect arrested after police pursuit in Southern California

Authorities with the California Highway Patrol and the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department were in pursuit of a suspect possibly wanted for robbery, burglary, carjacking and an outstanding warrant.

Officers with the Riverside Police Department initially spotted the man behind the wheel of an SUV with wood paneling on the side near the intersection of Van Buren Boulevard and Magnolia Avenue, a police department spokesperson confirmed to KTLA.

When officers attempted a traffic stop, the suspect failed yield, launching a chase that ultimately was taken over by CHP and SBSD and ended with suspect surrendering in the driveway of a home.
