(KRON) — A car crashed into The UPS Store in Alameda on Tuesday, the City of Alameda Fire Department said on social media. The crash happened at the location on Blanding Avenue where a white BMW drove into the store’s front door.
The driver was taken to the hospital; the person’s condition is unknown at this time. According to officials, no patrons or bystanders inside the store were injured.

The UPS Store is located at 2601 Blanding Ave., which is in the Bridgeside Shopping Center. The plaza is right by the Tidal Canal.
