(KRON) — A fire that broke out early Monday morning at a San Bruno apartment complex sent one resident to the hospital, according to fire officials.
The San Bruno Fire Department responded to the 400 block of Milton Avenue and found a structure fire at a multi-family apartment complex. Firefighters “made an aggressive attack,” officials said, and were able to knock down the fire and prevent its spread.

One resident was transported to an area hospital for smoke inhalation, SBFD said.
Multiple families were displaced as a result of the fire. The American Red Cross responded to assist.
“Our thoughts are with the residents affected, and we’re working with community partners to support their recovery,” SBFD said in a post on social media.
