(KRON) – Narcotics and a loaded firearm was found in a convicted felon’s vehicle, according to the Livermore Police Department.
At around 10 p.m. on Friday, Livermore police officers pulled over a BMW SUV near Vasco and Northfront roads for a traffic violation. Officers said they noticed items inside the SUV that were consistent with drug sales.
Officers were assisted by a K-9 named Drake that informed police of the presence of narcotics.

Approximately 3 ounces of cocaine, prescription pills, fentanyl and a loaded 9mm handgun was subsequently found in the SUV, police said.
The suspect, a 48-year-old Oakland resident, was arrested and booked into the Santa Rita Jail on multiple gun and drug-related charges.
