(KRON) — A San Francisco woman accused of stealing more than $900 worth of clothing from Target initially provided a false name to officers during her arrest, said the Colma Police Department.
Police said officers responded at 5:47 p.m. last Thursday to the store location at 5001 Juniper Serra Boulevard for a report of a theft. Police were informed at the scene that the female suspect had just ran away with the stolen items through Target’s parking lot.
Police were able to soon locate the woman, and she eventually provided her real name to officers, said Colma PD. The approximate value of the recovered goods was $920.27.

Geena Lazzerini, 23, of San Francisco, was taken into custody for shoplifting and giving a false identification to police. Police said Lazzerini was issued a citation for the charges and released on good faith that she will appear at her court date.
In an unrelated Target shoplifting incident last week, 11 arrests were made after a task force conducted a retail theft operation at a Target in San Jose. More than $2,000 of stolen items were recovered, including clothing, food, beer, alcohol, drones, pepper spray, Stanley tumblers, backpacks, hygiene products and a soccer ball.
