SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A preliminary 2.5-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of the San Francisco Peninsula overnight Monday, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The epicenter was 5 miles west of Daly City.
The tremblor occurred at 1:28 a.m., USGS said. People in San Francisco and Daly City reported feeling weak to light shaking, according to USGS’s “Did You Feel It?” survey.
There were no initial reports of damages or injuries.
