(BCN) — San Jose police put out a public appeal for help identifying a suspect in an armed robbery and other alleged crimes in a press release Thursday.
Three suspects, all juveniles, are already in custody in connection with the alleged robbery, which occurred on Jan. 9. Four people entered a business in the 1600 block of Foxworthy Avenue and two of them demanded money at gunpoint, police said.
An investigation into the vehicle they used to flee the scene allegedly determined that the vehicle was stolen out of San Jose.
Police accused the group of committing four vehicle thefts earlier the same morning, and further alleged the group had been involved in a traffic collision.
Two suspects, both juveniles, were arrested after police served search warrants at their homes. Police allegedly found evidence from the burglary, including a privately manufactured firearm.
A third who was identified was already in custody at Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall, police said.
Police were unable to identify the fourth suspect. He was described as wearing black clothing with a face mask, and a red or maroon shirt under his hooded sweatshirt on the day of the burglary.
Police asked anyone with information about the suspect to contact any of the detectives working on the case at the San Jose Police Department by emailing 4392@sanjoseca.gov, 4624@sanjoseca.gov, or 4570@sanjoseca.gov, or by calling (408) 277-4166.
