SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Amidst ongoing stories of retail closures in San Francisco’s Union Square and beyond, one high-end retailer has announced it will be returning to the city. Ralph Lauren on Thursday announced that it will open its newest North American store in SF’s historic Jackson Square District.
The store, which is located at 441 Jackson Street in the heart of the trendy neighborhood, “will invite San Francisco consumers to step into the immersive world of Ralph Lauren,” according to a spokesman for the brand. The store will feature both men’s and women’s Polo Ralph Lauren and Double RL items.
There will also be “hand-selected vintage apparel and accessories” available at the store.
“This opening reinforces our continued focus on our key city ecosystem approach, which includes strengthening our West Coast presence,” the spokesperson said.

The store, according to a press release, will be “set behind a bespoke dark green painted storefront, accented by hand-painted gold leaf and brass signage.” Inside, it will feature a “soft, loft-like layout,” that “showcases stained oak floors, white-painted brick walls, and an open wood joist ceiling.”
The Ralph Lauren Store in San Francisco’s Jackson Square will be open Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
