(KRON) — The American Canyon Police Department said two men were arrested for trying to steal equipment from a PG&E facility in American Canyon after one suspect was spotted on security video in a black ski mask and carrying a possible carjack.
American Canyon PD said the incident happened just before 7 p.m. Sunday. Officers said they quickly located the suspected vehicle, a silver and black Ford Fusion, heading eastbound on Green Island Road not far from the PG&E site.
Police said a search of the car upturned a “stolen dirt compactor belonging to PG&E, as well as burglary tools, including copper cutters and bolt cutters.” Officers said they also discovered a couple of BB handguns, gloves and two walkie-talkies inside the vehicle.

The suspects, identified as Franklin Morales, 38, of San Pablo, and Jose Carrero Rosas, 30, of Concord, were booked into the Napa County Jail. They face several charges, including possession of burglary tools, grand theft, and conspiracy to commit a crime.
