(KRON) — Northbound El Camino Real in Millbrae is closed after a fatal crash Monday morning, the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office announced at 7:24 a.m.
The closure of northbound El Camino Real is between Park Boulevard and Santa Inez Avenue. Sheriff’s deputies remain at the scene as the investigation continues.
Further details of the crash or the fatality were not immediately available.
Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes. The sheriff’s office expects the roadway to be closed for “several hours.”
