Women in Pittsburg dog-kicking incident at-large, considered ‘armed and dangerous’: police

(KRON) — The Pittsburg Police Department is still attempting to locate two women involved in an altercation that included one of the women kicking her neighbor’s dog. Police described the women as “armed and dangerous” on Thursday.

One of the women was caught on camera kicking neighbor Albert Lopes’ small white dog on Feb. 19. The incident began after a family member of the women ran over Lopes’ potted plant. The story and video have since gone viral.

Police are now looking for the two women, who were identified as Lagashia Williams and Graciela Amar.

Police have obtained arrest warrants for both women, which include multiple felony charges. PPD did not say what the charges are.

In an interview with KRON4, Lopes claimed that one of the women had a gun.

“There was a gun involved, but there’s no evidence of me seeing it and her showing it,” Lopes said.

Susie Ashley, who ran over the plant, claims Lopes was the one who had a gun, not her relative.

One of the women kicked Lopes’ dog, Gigi, sending the animal flying across his driveway. Lopes said the dog’s medical bills could total $16,000.

Police are considering Williams and Amar “armed and dangerous” due to the alleged involvement of a gun. PPD warned anyone who sees either woman not to approach them.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of the suspects is asked to call (925) 252-4040.
