Originally slated to open on Tuesday, Feb. 25, Egg Tuck, the popular Korean breakfast chain specializing in egg sandwiches, has pushed back the opening day of its Anaheim Hills location until Tuesday, March 18.
“We’re excited to announce that, while our store opening in Orange County has been slightly delayed due to unforeseen construction and permit issues, we are eager to welcome our new Egg Tuck family soon,” said John Shin, Egg Tuck’s marketing manager, in a written statement. “We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to create the perfect space for you to enjoy our delicious offerings.
Regardless of the new timetable, Orange County denizens will be able to get their hands on Egg Tuck next month. The Anaheim Hills opening will mark the Los Angeles-based chain’s first foray into the region.

Founded by by Alex Sohn, Egg Tuck, which got its start as a pop-up in Koreatown during the pandemic, is noted for its soft scrambled and eggs sandwiched between slices of thick brioche.
In addition to serving a handful of egg sandwiches, Egg Tuck also offers egg burritos, tater tots, fries and kale salad.
Hours of operation will be Monday through Sunday from 7:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. Opens Tuesday, March 18.
