SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — A teenage boy was shot in San Francisco’s Outer Sunset district on Wednesday. According to the San Francisco Police Department, officers responded to 37th Avenue and Santiago Street around 2:44 p.m. on a report of a shooting.
At the scene, officers encountered the victim, a juvenile male, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Officers rendered aid, and medics arrived at the scene.
The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening. Anyone with any information regarding the incident is asked to contact SFPD.
