A pair of earthquakes at or above 3.0 in magnitude shook San Bernardino Monday morning.
The U.S. Geological Survey reported that the first quake hit at 9:44 a.m. as a preliminary 3.5 magnitude, followed by a second quake, this one a 3.0, at 9:48 a.m.


Both were centered about 3 miles north-northeast of San Bernardino, and their depths were more than 4 miles.
No significant damage was immediately reported.
