SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — The Bay Area waves goodbye to showers for a few days, offering a sunny and crisp break before a return to a rain pattern Wednesday of next week.
A brief mid-morning sprinkle will give way to increasingly sunny skies with much calmer winds. Highs will only reach the 50s.
A flood watch remains in effect through Friday afternoon in Marin and Sonoma counties, according to the National Weather Service.
Overnight, freeze warnings and frost advisories go into effect Bay Area-wide as evening lows fall dramatically colder. The advisories are in effect from 1 a.m. through 9 a.m. Saturday. Temperatures in the impacted areas will be between 33 and 36 degrees, NWS said.
