(KRON) – A Taiwanese boba chain that calls its dining experience “uniquely different and sophisticated” is expanding throughout the Bay Area.
Chicha San Chen, according to the website, aims to serve freshly brewed, high-quality drinks without compromising quality. The boba chain uses its proprietary teapresso machine for each individual cup, according to Chicha.
The chain’s bubble milk tea, dong ding oolong tea latte, honey osmanthus oolong tea and green tea with cream serve as the chain’s most popular drinks.
Chicha San Chen has a location in Cupertino’s The Crossroads shopping mall.
Berkeley will be the next city to have the Taiwanese boba chain. This Chicha location will be next door to a Crumbl and is less than a 15-minute walk from several UC Berkeley campuses.
Per Chicha’s website, a new Daly City location is set to open in the summer. The website hints at another Chicha store in the Bay Area, citing “New store: Bay Area” and “work-in-progress – TBA.”
Chicha also offers catering and event hosting services and tea tastings.
