(BCN) — Drivers in Oakland were asked to avoid Skyline Boulevard near Redwood Road on Saturday because of a large, downed tree. Oakland firefighters and safety crews were on scene in the 12000 block of Skyline Boulevard at about 11:30 a.m. working to remove the tree, according to a social media post from the Oakland Fire Department.
Crews first responded at about 11 a.m.
The department estimated the road would be closed for at least two hours. There was no property damage or injuries reported.
