SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Popular local coffee shop Red Bay Coffee is moving soon—but don’t worry, fans, it’s not going far.
Red Bay Coffee took over Peet’s former spot in the Ferry Building in October 2020, during the height of the pandemic.
In a flyer titled “We’re Moving A Few Doors Down,” Red Bay said it will stay in the Ferry Building but relocate to a different space within it.
The shop plans to share more details and visual renderings soon, though there’s no timeline yet for the new location’s opening.
“It has been a true honor to operate in one of the most iconic artisanal marketplaces in San Francisco… thank you for your continued support—we wouldn’t be here without this amazing community,” Red Bay said.
The current space closed on Jan. 28, but during the transition, Red Bay will serve customers from its coffee van in the Ferry Building Plaza.
