(KRON) — A pedestrian was struck and killed while walking on a dark roadway early Thursday morning near Two Rock in Sonoma County, according to the California Highway Patrol. The incident occurred on Valley Ford Road near Fallon Road.
The pedestrian, who police said was wearing dark clothing at the time, was walking in the lane in dark conditions. The pedestrian was struck by a van and pronounced dead shortly after 6 a.m.
The victim was a man of “unknown age,” officials said. No other details were immediately available.
