14-year-old with tattoo of his own name goes missing in same place, on same day as autistic teen

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is searching for an at-risk juvenile last seen nearly three weeks ago.

According to a missing person bulletin, Ethan Villa was last seen in the 4800 block of Live Oak Street in Cudahy on Jan. 2 at 1 p.m.

The 4800 block of Live Oak Street is the same location where Andrew Estevez went missing; the 18-year-old, who has autism, was also last seen on Jan. 2 at 11:13 a.m.

Ethan, 14, stands 5 feet, 2 inches tall, weighs 117 pounds, has black hair, brown eyes and an “Ethan” tattoo on his left hand, LASD stated. He was last seen wearing a black shirt with black and white shorts.

His family is concerned for his well-being and is asking the public for help in addition to law enforcement.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Ethan Villa – or Andrew Estevez – is urged to contact the LASD’s Missing Persons Unit by calling 323-890-5500.

Information regarding Ethan can also be submitted to the East Los Angeles sheriff’s station by calling the on-duty watch commander at 323-264-4151.

To submit an anonymous tip, call Crime Stoppers (1-800-222-8477) or go to the Crime Stoppers website.

KTLA has reached out to LASD for more information on the two missing teens, including whether their disappearances are connected in any way.
