Police are investigating a shooting that left a man critically wounded just blocks from Anaheim Cemetery Sunday night.
The incident was reported shortly before 7:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of East Lincoln Avenue.
Arriving officers found a man down who was suffering from at least one gunshot wound, Anaheim Police Department Sgt. Gallagher said.
The unidentified victim was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition, Gallagher said.
No further details about the shooting were immediately available, including whether it took place inside or outside of a nearby apartment building.
No other injuries were reported in connection with the shooting.
Police have not released a description of a suspect or possible suspect vehicle.
