(KRON) — One person died after a crash on Highway 35 Monday evening, California Highway Patrol (CHP) Redwood City said in a post on X. As of 7:30 p.m., all lanes in both directions of Highway 35 are shut down.
The crash happened on Highway 35 just south of Highway 84 at Rapley Ranch Road in Portola Valley of San Mateo County.
The circumstances behind the crash are unknown at this time. No information was provided about the victim.
There is no estimated time for the lanes to reopen, officials said. Motorists are asked to use alternate routes and expect delays.
