(KRON) — The Stanford Cardinal men’s basketball team will face North Carolina in a cross-country ACC battle on Saturday. The game is being shown exclusively on KRON4.
Stanford (11-6, 3-3 ACC) and UNC (12-6, 5-1 ACC) tip off at 11:15 a.m. PT. on KRON4.
For Stanford, the game represents a chance to get its first signature win in the ACC. The Cardinal, along with UC Berkeley and SMU, joined the conference for the 2024-25 season.
Stanford is still looking for their its ACC win on the East Coast. Their three conference wins have come at Maples Pavilion and at Cal.
UNC had regained their form after a three-game losing streak earlier in the season. They are riding a four-game winning streak into the game against Stanford.
The matchup will feature two of the best players in the ACC. Stanford senior Maxime Raynaud is leading the conference in both points and rebounds per game. UNC’s RJ Davis was a First Team All-American last season and helped the Tar Heels reach the Final Four in 2022.
Before UNC-Stanford, another game between NCAA Tournament hopefuls will air on KRON4. Clemson and Pittsburgh tip off at 9 a.m. PT.
