Fourth District Supervisor Doug Chaffee became the new chairman of the OC Board of Supervisors on Tuesday.
Supervisor Don Wagner, chair of the board since January 2023, passed the gavel to Chaffee who was vice-chair for the last year in the annual rotation of the board leadership. Supervisor Katrina Foley was elected by her colleagues as vice-chair of the board.
