(KRON) – Costco employees are set to host a practice protest on Tuesday nearing union/company contract expiration, according to the Teamsters Locals 150 and 853.
The contract, according to the group, will expire Jan. 31.
The practice picket is to warn Costco that the union is willing to protest if the company fails to deliver the “strongest possible contract.”
According to the group, Costco recorded $254 billion in revenue and more than $7.4 billion in net profit in 2024. The group said they are fighting for an “industry-leading contract that reflects Costco’s record-breaking profit margins.”
