SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Minor coastal flooding is possible Saturday across bay shore locations along the San Francisco and San Pablo bays, according to the National Weather Service. High tide Saturday morning at 8:34 a.m. is expected to reach 6.8 feet.
Coastal flooding along the bay shore is possible between 5 a.m. and noon, the NWS is advising. Impacts could include flooding of lots, parks and roads. Isolated road closures are expected.
The weather service is cautioning people not to drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth. If travel is required, the NWS advises allowing extra time as some roads may be closed.

The NWS also recommends taking appropriate actions to protect flood-prone property. The warning extends as far south as San Jose and as far north as Cloverdale.
