Several major throughfares, freeways and connectors are closed throughout Los Angeles County on Wednesday, Jan. 8, due to the Palisades, Eaton and Hurst fires.
Officials are asking people to avoid the roads still open near the fire areas if possible, especially in West Los Angeles.
Current state highway closures:
- Pacific Coast Highway (State Route 1) closed southbound at Cross Creek Road
- Pacific Coast Highway (State Route 1) closed northbound at McClure Tunnel
- I-10 Westbound traffic diverted at Lincoln Boulevard
- Topanga Canyon Boulevard (State Route 27) closed in both directions between PCH and Mulholland Drive
- I-210 westbound lanes are closed at Roxford Street and traffic is diverted off there.
- I-210 eastbound closed at I-5
- North and southbound I-5 connectors to I-210 eastbound are closed.
- I-5 northbound truck lanes are closed to I-210 and State Route 14
- San Gabriel Canyon Road (State Route 39) open only to residents
