LOS ANGELES (KTLA) — Disneyland’s original Haunted Mansion attraction will be making room for one more happy haunt this Halloween season.
Typically, the attraction’s seasonal overlay, Haunted Mansion Holiday, will begin during the Halloween season at Disneyland and run into throughout the holiday season.
According to the Disneyland website, Jack, Sally and Zero won’t return to the mansion until Nov. 14, 2025, which is the start of the holiday season at the theme park resort.
The original Haunted Mansion is scheduled to open on Jan. 18 following a nearly year-long closure so crews could begin work on a larger outdoor queue and a Madame Leota-themed retail shop. The last time guests could ride the original version of the attraction was on Jan. 21, 2024.
Fans have also speculated that more changes have materialized inside the attraction, including a new design for the attraction’s ghostly bride and updates to the Hitchhiking Ghosts mirror effect at the end of the ride.
The Haunted Mansion opened at Disneyland in 1969.
