(KRON) — The California Highway Patrol (CHP) Oakland office shared a photo on social media Friday evening of a U-Haul truck that had veered off the roadway into a ditch.
CHP reported at 5:46 p.m. that the incident occurred on I-880 near Exit 38. A tow truck had been requested to the scene.
CHP said the incident temporarily closed the #5 lane of Northbound I-880, south of High Street, until it was re-opened at 7:12 p.m.
There were no injuries reported. The cause of the incident remains unknown.
