(KRON) — The Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) Bay Area chapter said the Lake Merritt Menorah by the Chabad Jewish Center of Oakland was targeted by hate graffiti on the last night of Hanukkah, for the second time in two years.

A JCRC spokesperson told KRON4 that a local community member immediately cleaned up the graffiti.
We reached out to the Oakland Police Department for a comment on the investigation, but did not hear back at the time of this report.
