Fire crews rushed to the scene of a plane crash in Fullerton Thursday afternoon that forced evacuations and left an unknown number of casualties.
The crash happened around 2:10 p.m. on the 2300 block of West Raymer Avenue, directly adjacent to the Fullerton Municipal Airport.

The incident was reported as a structure fire, indicating the plane may have crashed into a building, possibly a warehouse.
The Fullerton Police Department confirmed that the plane went down in the area and that evacuations were underway. As of 2:40 p.m., police said there were an unknown number of “casualties.”
Video from the Citizen App showed large plume of black smoke billowing from the crash site, fire trucks speeding toward the source and firefighters assessing the situation from a nearby roof.
At this time, the total number of injuries is unclear.
