(BCN) — Fairfield police arrested an alleged burglar last week after a homeowner reported the man was in his garage. The caller recognized him from a previous burglary because the burglar was allegedly wearing shoes he stole from the homeowner the last time he was there.
Police responded at 9:34 a.m. Dec. 23 to the home on Delaware Street, where the man said the suspect was once again in his garage. Officers arrested the suspect and transported him to county jail.
