Arson investigated after Los Angeles tire store burns again

Arson investigators have been sent to a Los Angeles business after a fire erupted at a tire store in the Vermont-Vista neighborhood for at least the second time Thursday morning.

The fire was reported just after 3 a.m. at the business located on the 6900 block of South Vermont Avenue near the 110 Freeway.

The one-story commercial building was “well-involved in fire” when first responders arrived, the Los Angeles Fire Department stated.

Firefighters were initially forced into a defensive mode while battling the blaze.
