Kendrick Lamar and SZA are set to hit the stage for a good cause.
The artists will perform at Top Dawg Entertainment’s 11th annual Christmas concert and toy drive. The two-day community giveback event supports the Nickerson Gardens Housing Projects in the Watts neighborhood of Los Angeles and it’s hosted by the Carson-based record label famously known for signing Lamar and SZA.
The duo will be joined by other TDE artists like AB-Soul, Doechii, Isaiah Rashad, Jay Rock, Ray Vaughn, SchoolBoy Q and Zacari. Other special guests have been promised by organizers, but they haven’t been named.
The concert will take place on Dec. 12 at Nickerson Gardens located at 11251 Compton Ave, Los Angeles, CA.
Gates open at 11:00 a.m. with local openers performing at 1:00 p.m. and the main show starting at 2:30 p.m.
Those looking to attend must bring an unwrapped gift for entry.
Day 2 of the event takes place on Dec. 13 and will be filled with family-friendly activities, a raffle and gift giveaways from 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A job fair will also be hosted from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Just last week, Lamar and SZA announced the Grand National Tour. It will kick off in Minneapolis, Minnesota in April of 2025 and will make its way to SoFi Stadium in Inglewood on May 21, 23 and 24.
