(KRON) — Air quality across much of the Bay Area is expected to be moderate, according to the Bay Area Air Quality Management District. The agency said that air quality in the South Central Bay zone is expected to be good.
Air quality across the Bay Area’s four other zones — Northern Zone, Eastern Zone, Coast and Central Bay, and Santa Clara Valley — is forecast as moderate. The National Weather Service reported clear skies over the Bay Area early Tuesday morning.
The BAAQMD is advising that wood smoke is the largest source of wintertime air pollution in the Bay Area.
