(KRON) — A popular Korean restaurant from San Francisco is expanding for its first East Bay location. Daeho, known for its Galbi-jjim (braised short rib), held its soft opening for its Concord location last week, the restaurant posted on Instagram.

Daeho’s soft opening was initially scheduled for Dec. 6 but was moved up to Dec. 3 instead. As of now, Daeho’s Concord operating hours are 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for lunch and 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. for dinner.
The space on 1827 Willow Pass Road was previously occupied by Urban Barber College, which has since moved a few doors down to its current home at 1809 Willow Pass Road.
Since opening its first location on Post Street in San Francisco in 2019, Daeho has opened locations in San Mateo, Milpitas, Las Vegas and Bellveue, Wash. The Concord restaurant is Daeho’s seventh.
Daeho plans to expand to Austin, Texas and Honolulu, Hawaii, the restaurant said on its website.
