Firefighters are battling a three-alarm brushfire, dubbed the Franklin Fire, in Malibu near Pepperdine University amid high-wind warnings, officials confirmed to KTLA.
It’s unclear how the blaze started, but officials with the L.A. County Fire Department estimate that at least 10 acres have been scorched and that structures are threatened with evacuations in progress.
