(KRON) – The Fairfield Police Department has arrested a Hayward woman accused of financial elder abuse, the department announced on its social media.
Police said 30-year-old Luisa Soane scammed several thousands of dollars from a victim’s bank account and then purchased an SUV using the victim’s identity. According to Fairfield PD, Soane was able to scam the victim by impersonating a Fairfield police officer.
Soane was arrested on Dec. 5 for suspicion of revocation of probation, impersonating a peace officer and elder fraud.
Her bail was set at $35,000.
In June of last year, Soane was arrested by the Pleasanton Police Department for suspicion of financial abuse of an elder, forging official seal, receiving stolen property motor vehicle, professional practice violation and unlawful use of willfully obtained personal identification information.
