(BCN) — The California Highway Patrol is investigating after two people were injured in a shooting Sunday night on Highway 24 in Orinda. The shooting was reported about 10:30 p.m. on the freeway east of Wilder Road.
Officers found two people with minor injuries from gunshot wounds in a gray Chevrolet Camaro. They were taken to a hospital for treatment, CHP Sgt. Andrew Barclay said Monday.
The shooting closed all lanes of the freeway for about an hour Sunday night to to allow investigators to search for evidence and process the scene. The CHP investigating to determine a motive in the shooting and identify suspects.
CHP detectives are asking anyone with information regarding the shooting to call the CHP Investigative Tipline at (707)917-4491.
