Preliminary 3.0 magnitude earthquake struck Tres Pinos Sunday morning 

(KRON) – A preliminary 3.0 magnitude earthquake struck the town of Tres Pinos on Sunday, according to the United States Geological Survey. 

The quake struck at 8:23 a.m. on Sunday. 

 Tres Pinos is less than 10 miles southeast of Hollister.
