(BCN) — One person is dead after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in a rural area of Vacaville on Saturday night, according to California Highway Patrol Solano Area.
Both directions of traffic on Gibson Canyon Road between Farrell Road and Vine Street are shut down while the crash is being investigated. California Highway Patrol, or CHP, does not have a definite time for when the road will be reopened.
CHP Solano Area did not release the identity of the deceased.
