(KRON) — Power lines are down, and traffic is blocked as a result of a fatal crash involving a motorcycle in Livermore Thursday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash occurred on Mines Road south of Tesla Road.
According to the CHP log, the motorcyclist struck a power pole. CHP is advising drivers to avoid the area.
As of 12:14 p.m., one-way traffic control is in effect, the CHP said. There is no estimated timeframe for when the roadway will completely reopen.
