Starbucks’ popular “Red Cup Day” is back for the 2024 season. Here’s how coffee lovers can score a free reusable Starbucks cup and discounts.
During Red Cup Day on Thursday, Starbucks offers free reusable, 16-ounce holiday cups when customers order a qualifying drink.
Here are the eligible drinks:

- Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato
- Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso
- Caramel Brulée Latte
- Chestnut Praline Latte
- Cran-Merry Orange Refresher
- Cran-Merry Lemonade Refresher
- Cran-Merry Drink
- Gingerbread Oatmilk Chai
- Hot Chocolate
- Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte
- Peppermint Hot Chocolate
- Peppermint Mocha
- Peppermint White Hot Chocolate
- Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte
- Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew
- Pumpkin Spice Latte
- Salted Pecan Crunch Cold Brew
- Sugar Cookie Almondmilk Latte
- White Hot Chocolate
The company said customers can receive the free cup when they place orders in-store, at the drive-thru, on the Starbucks app, or via the coffee chain’s delivery options on DoorDash, Uber, or Grubhub.
Those who receive one can bring it back to Starbucks to reuse and earn a $0.10 discount on their order. Starbucks members can also earn a $0.10 discount when they bring their reusable cups back and 25 bonus stars when using the Starbucks app.
